At a week old, Maestoso Borina is paying more attention to things that go on around him, such as other horses and...cameras. "He must be thinking, 'What are those strange things?'" his owner, Miss H. says. He is quite curious, even about little things. But he will never go far from his mother, and she never lets him out of her sight. He is Poppy Farm's second colt. He shares his birthday with Hannah, a Clydesdale filly out of Alex and Amethyst. "The 5th is a really special day", says Miss H. "Lipizzaners are one of my favorite breeds and to have one born here is exiting. He is our 3rd Lipizzaner, and definitely not our last!"
The little foal had no idea of its future, of what it would become, and the places it would see. It was no ordinary foal, and would have no ordinary life...
The little foal was born on a horse farm in England. It's mother was a Lipizzaner, Borina, all the way from Austria. Its father was Maestoso Anconna, a Lipizzaner, from Austria too. The foal was named Maestoso Borina. He was born on March 5, 2014. He is black, and will one day be grey like his parents. |
Here is the life of our first Lipizzaner foal.
